Beauty has immeasurable power; it has the ability to push into the horizon what we wish to feel more distant, bringing into the foreground that which gives us a latent light.
If I gaze with beauty, I discover that even what might go unnoticed at any given moment captivates me and subtly calls for my attention.
I choose what I want to give importance to.
I choose to embrace sorrow, anguish, anxiety, melancholy, and even death, but I also choose to harbor hope, peace, joy, and wonder.
I decide where to focus.
I see an unlimited, inherent beauty in nature, but also in the most ordinary things, in what is closest, and even in the most ethereal.
I choose to live this life with beauty, with love—to observe, to create, to feel, and to live.
I can always change the perspective, shift the focus, but never the gaze.
